Construction of a new two storey extension to the side of the property via a glazed link to the existing property by way of a new kitchen to the rear. The kitchen extension was rendered and roofed to match the existing cottage. The new extension was clad with board on board black timber. The glazed link connecting the new extension allowed more light to into the property whilst providing views of the surrounding countryside.

The extension incorporated a glazed dining area and larger family space (including kitchen, dining and living) with views across the surrounding countryside. Spaces were also created for a utility area and areas for home working with views and roof lights above.

Renovation works to the new property included new internal doors, windows and internally insulating external walls and damp proofing together with a sauna.
